Quality
Technical documentation. Batch traceability. Independent analysis where available.
Vanta Biotech is a distributor. We do not manufacture, we do not operate a laboratory and we do not perform testing ourselves. What we do is choose manufacturing partners, keep the documentation that comes with a batch, and commission independent analysis on selected batches so that a figure can be checked against a document rather than taken on trust.
Where a manufacturing partner supplies documentation with a batch, Vanta maintains it internally against that batch. It is evidence of what the manufacturer states about its own material. It is not independent analysis, and it is not published as though it were.
For selected batches Vanta commissions analysis from an independent U.S. laboratory. The certificate names the laboratory, the accession number, the batch, the dates it was received and reported, the methods used and the results obtained. Where a certificate has been approved for publication it appears on the product page for the compound it names and in the documentation centre.
Vanta maintains records linking received inventory to its purchasing source, lot information and available technical documentation. A certificate is attached to a lot, never to a product in general, and the lot supplied is recorded against the order.
A certificate names a lot. To find the document for material you hold, read the lot from the vial label and search it in the documentation centre, or open the product page and look under Documentation. A certificate for one lot is never shown in place of another.
We do not describe material as pharmaceutical grade, and we do not state a purity figure for a product as a whole. A purity figure belongs to a batch and to the certificate that reports it. Where no certificate has been published for a batch, no figure is shown for it.
